Karma to me is the equivalent of Newton’s law of ‘every action must have an equal or opposite reaction’. Everything we do causes a force to be awoken that reacts accordingly.

If we do something bad to someone we can expect that action to come back to us in greater form. For those who do not know Karma is a Sanskrit word that means ‘action.’ Below you will find ten of the little-known laws of Karma that will be able to help you along your life journey.

1. The Law of Creation

Life does not just happen, it requires our participation. We have to be ourselves and surround ourselves with what we want to have present in our lives. Our surroundings are a clear indicator of what our inner state looks like.

2. The Law of Humility

When we do not fail to notice or accept something in our lives it will continue coming up until something is done about it. We have to focus on seeing the good in people rather than focusing on their flaws.

3. The Law of Growth

We all need to grow, we do not do this through age alone. We grow based on our experiences and through the changes we deal with. As long as we continue to grow as a person we will be able to achieve great things. Do not allow yourself to get stuck.

4. The Great Law

If you do something good then the Universe will reward you with good things as well. If you do something bad then that is what you shall get in return. If you want to experience good things in this life then do good to those you come in contact with.

5. The Law of Responsibility

When there is something going wrong in life there is something wrong inside of you. We literally mirror our surroundings. We need to take responsibility for our lives and make changes within as needed.

6. The Law of Here and Now

We should not spend time looking back on the past. That prevents us from being in the here and now. The thing of our past will hold us back from the new experiences to come if we let it.

7. The Law of Patience and Reward

Everything takes time. We have to work hard before we are rewarded, nothing comes for free. Do good, be patient, and you will be rewarded.

8. The Law of Focus

It is important that we focus on one thing at a time we must remain focused on our tasks. When we are focused on our spiritual values we cannot fathom even being able to have lower thoughts like anger or greed.

9. The Law of Connection

Everything in the Universe is connected, even if it doesn’t seem that way. Every step we make leads us to the next. Every step is significant and we need all the things we experience to get where we are going.

10. The Law of Change

History will repeat itself until we have learned the lesson needed to change our path. Do not ignore something that keeps happening, learn from it.
