“The law of attraction is this: You don’t attract what you want. You attract what you are.” –Wayne Dyer
We’ve all met that one person that seems to attract everyone they meet, causing others to flock to their side, hanging on their every word. Appearance aside, there is something about them that we just can’t put our finger on. You know you want to spend time with them, get to know them better, and does everyone else around you!
Have you ever stopped and wonder just what it is about that person that catches the eye of everyone they encounter? While there is no guaranteed recipe for success, those people that we find to be highly attractive do share a number of behaviors which work together to create a positive persona, creating a magnetic personality.
Here are 6 habits associated with highly attractive people:
- They Have a Passion for Life
They don’t just go through life on autopilot accepting whatever may come their way… These people not only know they want out of their life, but they are highly passionate in their pursuit of it.
- Genuine Acceptance
These people don’t just act like they aren’t judgemental, they genuinely accept and embrace others regardless of who they are. Facts like gender, race, religion, political bias, etc. don’t impact the respect that they show everyone that they meet.
- Random Acts of Kindness
These people aren’t just kind to themselves (which is important), but they go out of their way to demonstrate kindness for people they meet. Close friends, family, or even complete strangers – you can’t help but notice that they spread kindness everywhere they go.
- An Open Mind
Sure, they may have their own opinions and views on how things should be done in life, or what they view as ‘right’ or ‘wrong’, but they are open to a discussion, keeping an open mind and entertaining the opinions of others.
- Confidence in Decision Making
Someone who is able to make decisions and stick to them shows a high level of confidence. While we may enjoy being in charge from time to time, there is also a feeling of security in being around someone with the confidence to take control and make sure things are done ‘properly.’
- A Sense of Humor
Who doesn’t love someone that can make them laugh? With life often leaving us feeling down, stressed or overworked, we can’t help but be drawn to those that can put a smile on our face.
