Lucid dreaming is an amazing ability of the spiritually in touch, and anyone can achieve this gift. If you follow these few steps you can experience the wonderful world of lucid dreaming.
Lucid dreaming is typically the ability to consciously observe and/or control your dreams. It transforms your inner dream world into a living alternate reality – where everything you sense is as authentic as it is in real life! It occurs during altered states of consciousness when you realize you are dreaming. Your brain will then switch into the waking mode, only inside the dream! This gives you the ability to create and dream up your own perfect world!
This is often considered scary, but it is a safe and natural state. It isn’t a paranormal out of body experience. With lucid dreams, you are always safe and asleep in your bed. You also have the control to wake yourself up if you are frightened. But, who would want to do that? If you want to lucid dream follow these steps!
First, you will need to use Dream Awareness Techniques. It is helpful to keep a dream journal nearby the bed. Every morning when you wake up, write down what you dreamed about the night before. This will help you remember your dreams and train yourself to remember more in the future.
Secondly, use reality checks frequently. Every few hours during the day ask you “am I dreaming?” once you get this down as a habit, you will start to do this in your dreams as well. Once aware of the reality of a dream, you can do anything.
Lastly, repeat “I will be aware that I’m dreaming” each time you fall asleep. You can also use a similar phrase each time you are going to sleep. The technique is known as Mnemonic Induction to Lucid Dreaming. Also known as MILD, it is using memory aids, in this case, using a rote phrase to turn the awareness of our dream! Also, listening to this 40Hz music will create the neural environment for lucid dreaming.
