A stunningly fantastic display of bright colored lights overshadowing Australia’s southern skies has been captured by an amateur photographer. This phenomenon is beyond mind-blowing.
This display was captured by IT worker Phillip Dubbin over Mushroom Reef in Melbourne. He described the event as relaxing and inspiring. Aurora Australis also known as the ‘southern lights’ is something that happens when electrically charged electrons and protons speed across the Earth’s magnetic field lines. The mesmerizing collection of yellow and pink lights took over Mushroom Reef with ease.
As you can see in the images below the sheer beauty of this phenomenon is astounding to say the least. To make this even more intense if you pay close attention in the video you will notice shooting stars streaking across this amazing scene. How amazing would this be to see in person?
