Have you ever stopped to consider what genuinely makes up your true reality? As we move into the 21st century this has become an ever-growing interest for scientists, focusing on understanding the biological explanation for our conscious reality and the way in which we experience it.
Neuroscientist Anil Seth explained his theory about reality. He explained that we are all hallucinating all the time, and everything we experience is just that – a hallucination. When our hallucinations line up with that of those around them, and we agree on what is happening we call that ‘reality.’ He explained, “As with life, so with consciousness, once we start explaining its properties in terms of things happening inside brains and bodies the apparent insolubility of what consciousness is, starts to fade away.”
