Sometimes it is better if we realize earlier on that a relationship isn’t going anywhere. Not everyone gets it right the first time, sometimes we go through a few relationships before we get it right, and there is nothing wrong with that.

1. You have completely different ideas for the future.
If you don’t have at least similar visions for the future, what is the point of being together in the first place? You are going in completely different directions.
2. You are not happy.
If you aren’t happy chances are your partner isn’t either. You are not doing anyone any good bu staying in the relationship.
3. You argue a lot.
Arguments never solve anything. You need to talk your problems out.
4. You hope things get better but they don’t.
No matter what you do things are only getting worse.
5. You are at a loss for words when it comes to describing your relationship.
You don’t know what this is anymore and you damn sure don’t know how to handle it. You cannot find anything in this relationship to be thankful for.
6. You are insecure in your relationship.
You are not sure what will happen from one moment to the next. You never know what the future has in store for you. Even the smallest thing can ruin your whole world.
7. You are often upset.
You pretty much cry yourself to sleep every night not knowing what to do. You cannot handle what this relationship is doing to your emotions.

It is affecting your work and how you handle interactions with other people. You aren’t quite sure why this is bothering you so much but it is.
